Atlantic Beach: Days 7,8

Day 7: Day 7 was our last day in Atlantic Beach! :( We enjoyed a good day at the beach, an afternoon in Beaufort shopping and eating ice cream, an evening walk on the beach, and a delicious dinner!

 I couldn't stop taking pics of her cause she is just the cutest! 

 I walked back before everyone else to go feed Lucy, so I got a few moments alone with her walking on the beach, looking at the sunset, and finding every bird that flew by. Lucy was so happy -- smiling, laughing, signing bird over and over. She's such a special girl, I love her so much. 

Day 8: We drove back to Raleigh, hung out at Grandad and Granbonnie's house watching the Olympics, then had a birthday party for Bonnie at Ann and Wades. I said goodbye to most everyone (who had earlier flights than me in the morning), gave baby girl a bath, then off to bed! We hung out with Kim the next morning before heading to the airport and having an uneventful trip home (thank goodness!! Lucy girl slept in my arms most of both flights, it was truly a blessing)!

Even though it was hard at times being Lucy's only parent, I am so glad I went on this trip! I had a lot of fun with family and made lots of great memories. :)
