A Fun Family Weekend - minus a trip down the stairs

Cute little Jillbo Baggins cares about her children in case of a disaster so she sends you a giant water container :)
Watching daddy mow the lawn
So, I wanted to do a fun fall activity with our little family so we found this little pumpkin patch online and decided to check it out. Well, turns out it was the smallest little thing ever and Lucy didn't care for it at all, haha! We tried to have her sit on a thing of hay for a picture and she HATED it, not a fan of grass, I should have known hay wouldn't be any better. Anyway, we tried! :)
On Saturday we had an awesome evening with our friends! Spikeball in the park, delicious homemade meal, and games for hours. We sure are grateful to have met these wonderful people.
Sunday as a family :)
Shoes? Who needs them?!
Then the worst thing happened...I was upstairs with Lucy, Jesse was downstairs studying. Lucy and I were in the laundry room switching loads. I looked away for two seconds and Lucy was gone. I go around the corner to find her standing on the first step of the stairs. I, the not-thinking-in-th-moment mother, yelled her name which obviously scared her and sent her tumbling down the stairs! :( I screamed so loud and ran down the stairs as fast as I could and caught her half way down. Jesse heard my terrible scream and then the tumbling of Lucy and knew what happened. He ran over so fast! It was seriously the worst -- watching her poor little body tumble down the stairs and her head hitting the wall :( She was crying so hard and then instantly fell asleep in my arms (she was exhausted and it was way past nap time) which made me super nervous, like is her brain okay?! I held her in my arms for a while then she woke up and acted like nothing happened. I assessed her and didn't see anything except a giant goose egg on her head and some scratches. Poor baby girl :( The park helped her feel a little better, I think :)
Her head started getting bigger and bigger by the minute... :(
I was so nervous about Lucy... I didn't want her brain to be swelling or something and me not know cause she was sleeping! I just had to wake her up and make sure she was okay :) Minus that dang goose egg, and her being super sleepy, she was fine!
Let me tell you...I am EXTRA EXTRA cautious of her whereabouts while we are upstairs...
