Lucy's First Birthday

October 29th, 2016 -- Lucy turns one! It's so crazy to think it's been a year since she was born. It feels like the fastest and slowest year all at the same time. 

We had a great day celebrating our girl! We did all of her favorite things -- ate yummy food, played outside, saw some animals,  read books. and played with friends. After a morning at home, we took Lucy to this little nature center place....it definitely wasn't the coolest place ever, but she LOVED the butterflies. Then we had our friends over for a little party! Opened presents, ate food, and watched her eat her cake. 

At one year old Lucy has six teeth, is finally sleeping through the night, is nursing 2-3 times a day, and eats so much food. She loves to read books, play outside, walk everywhere, and go through all the drawers. She's happy, silly, smart, and loving....with the occasional grumpiness of course. We couldn't ask for a better daughter! 

We love you Lucy Marie! Here's to another year! :)
