A New Year Begins -- Lucy Gets Pneumonia

Let's just say we were all over this adventure back home...

Lucy finally got to open her Christmas presents! 

As I'm very behind on blogging, I'm having such a hard time trying to remember how she got this black eye...I'm pretty sure she fell and hit something, but poor girl looked awful! On top of that, she started getting sick. 

Snotty, bruised, troll baby 

Got to sleep with momma in the guest bed so I could make sure she was breathing okay all night! 

After two days at work, and Lucy being super sick with the babysitter, I finally got her to the doctor! Only to find out she had a double ear infection and pneumonia! 😩 Poor girl! I felt so awful that she had to wait a few days for me to not be at work to get her some antibiotics! She was so sad, so snuggly, and so sick. Luckily the antibiotics kicked in pretty quick and she started perking up! 

Sick babies get to nurse to sleep :) 

What a fun way to start the new year! ;)
