Christmas Eve and Day 2016

We very anxiously awaited the time to fly to Utah! I was so excited to see family and Jess to have a little break from training. We had to fly out on the 23rd and got there super late, but better late than never!
We drove to Dallas a little early to visit and grab lunch with Jesse's cousins before they drove us to the airport. Then a late night flight later, we made it to SLC...to freezing SLC... haha! But I'm telling you, the second we got outside I was so happy cause it smelled sooo good; smelled like home :)
Christmas Eve started out with these ladies at Karrissa's spin class, followed by a fun Christmas breakfast, some last minute shopping and visiting J's fam, and then the Parsons Christmas Eve fun began!
We had so much fun with my family! We had a delicious dinner, of course, fun games, the nativity, minute-to-win-it games, jammies, and a movie. We were so happy to finally be back home spending time together.
Grey and Lucy LOVE each other and it's the sweetest thing ever.
The cutest little wiseman I've ever seen :)
Oh, and we surprised my family by telling them about baby #2! We were going to wait and have my mom open the ultrasound picture as a present in the morning but then the family talent show just felt like the right moment. Got mom and dad to cry, so that was sweet :) This is how Lucy felt about it...;)
The best nativity actors you've ever seen, right?!
You should have seen the sisters behind the camera doing everything possible to get all the kids to look and smile...that was more worth capturing on film!

We spent the first half of Christmas morning opening presents and having breakfast with my family, which was wonderful as ever. Then we headed off to Yandow's to spend the rest of the day with the Lanham clan!
Lucy loves her Poppa!
We skyped with Mark, ate lunch, opened presents, some went and saw a movie, went sledding, opened pj's, played games, and everyone slept over! I kind of ruined Christmas by eating the smallest bag of hot cheetos ever, but the first time I've eaten them in a REALLY long time, and they made me (and apparently baby!) so so so sick. I threw them all up and then spent the night in pain sleeping on the couch while everyone had fun. I felt so bad that I missed out on our limited time together. You could say I'm never eating them ever again!
Trying out the new bird toy daddy got Lucy :)
"Not so sure about this, mom..."
Two cute brother dads and their baby girls :)
Lovin' on uncle Braden!

It was a merry Christmas indeed! :)
