Work, Potty Training, Mother's Day, Dallas Zoo

May 8th-18th

Work selfie with that growing belly!
So, we decided it would be a good idea, and worth a try, to potty train Lucy before baby comes! She has been showing signs and has thought going on the potty is super cool, so we decided to do it for real. We bought undies, a step stool, and a toilet seat for her, and even made a potty chart :) Well, she never peed in the toilet, only on the carpet (haha!) but she did go poop in the potty multiple times! But then..we went on vacation and lost all progress.. So, potty training is at a stand still for now. Hopefully we'll get back to it soon!
Sitting on a towel -- just stayed at home, playing games, watching movies, and checking her undies every 15 minutes
I went to work my last shift only to find out I wasn't actually on the schedule...so my shift a few days earlier was my last! I truly enjoyed working at United Regional and loved the friends I made on 5 west :)

Walk time with Lucy and baby basketball
A wonderful Saturday as a family - played all morning, ran errands, had a picnic by the pool and got some sun, naps, dinner, then visited the Marshalls and played at the park.
Mother's Day!
How we both really felt about getting a good picture...
Bedtime with this girl....
 Lucy...aka: Dwight Schrute
Jessica and I took the kids to this local little nature center for a Dallas Zoo animal show. Lucy really loved all the animals but really didn't love not being able to touch them. She was so mad she had to sit on my lap and just look at all the cool animals!
Signing please to let her touch the animals
Some nights she wants to read bedtimes stories by herself
 Nightly rituals...prayers as a family :)
Who needs undies for your bum when you can wear them on your head?!

 Sleeepy snuggly girl :)
