Grandma and Poppa Visit - Poppa's Birthday

I have a feeling we are going to love being close enough to family for visits quite often! My mom and dad came for a few days just to see the kids and hang out. And lucky for us, we got to celebrate my dads birthday, too! We did lots of fun activities, watched The Good Doctor at night, went on walks, and, of course, played with the kids!

My dad finished up work and we were able to spend the day at the science museum then have dinner at The Cheesecake Factory. Such a fun afternoon!

Another fun day out shopping, seeing the animals at Cabela's (of course...), and then going to dinner at Claim Jumper with Uncle Kenny, who happened to be in town for work. 

September 26th, Poppa's birthday! Obviously hiking was probably not my dad's top choice of birthday activities...but he was a trooper and we all had fun! We did waterfall trail in the White Tank Mountains; Lucy's first hike. Minus a little stumble resulting in a scraped knee, she did great and had lots of fun exploring. Mr. Charlie slept in the Ergo the whole time :) After the hike we had the most delicious breakfast at Black Bear Diner! 

Luckily daddy was prepared and took great care of her!
