June 2017

June was a good month. Just spending our last days as a family of three! 

He knows the way to my heart :) 

Splash pad and pool with little miss and some friends! 

Then of course a post pool nap with crazy hair! 

Library then to visit Lauren Minnix's new baby boy William 

I love Lucy and Jesse's relationship, it's the cutest. Playing guitar, showing her the ways of xbox ;), then on a date to the book store and dinner!

Swimming with dad, John, and Aspen! Lucy loved having daddy there to play with. Followed by Mexican food and Nacho Libre :) We absolutely love the Marshalls and are grateful for such great friends here!

33 weeks with baby brother

Went to the gym to swim laps (because this pubic bone pain is absolutely the worst and being in water is the only thing that takes it away) just to find out the pool was closed for cleaning that day. And I didn't have any workout shoes...the worst.

She's starting to look like a big kid! 

Bedtime shenanigans...I love this girl and her bedtime routine. Bath, brush teeth, have dad do airplane landing into moms lap, books, family prayers, nursing, into bed for songs. Spoiled girl ;) 

1.5 going on 15

We love Saturdays spent together as a family. Usually includes the gym, grocery shopping, cleaning the house, then playing outside!

I decided that since I desperately needed a pedicure, and Jesse might actually enjoy one too, to surprise him for Father's Day with pedicure and dinner. He was definitely hesitant at first but soon his mind was changed :) Thanks to Aspen and John for taking Lucy on a little ice cream date while we were gone. 

We had fun making Jesse feel special on Father's Day Sunday. Church, snacks, and yummy steak dinner with the Retzers.

Jesse's last flight in the T-38 = IFF complete! Time for a month off :)

Spur of the moment bike purchase from a stranger then to Walmart for a helmet. Lucy's first riding a bike experience! She absolutely loved it. She was sooo proud of herself and had lots of fun with dad pushing her around. 

Lucy's first time at the movie theater was to see Trolls with the Retzers!

We loved having Bryan Reil visit us for a few days. Lucy girl had so much fun with him too.

My sweet friend Stephanie threw together the cutest baby shower for me and baby boy with all the ward ladies! I am grateful for their kindness and love throughout our time here at Sheppard. 

My least favorite sight as a pregnant woman...bending over to pick up all those toys is such a chose haha!
