Utah Week 2: July 31st-August 5th

 These smiles are everything because he's usually a grumpy little crying baby! 

 Grandpa Charlie 

 The strangest thing ever happened while we were hanging out in the Winwards kitchen. We heard this loud pop sound and luckily Joe decided to investigate...he came outside to find the top of the hot tub on fire!! Our best guess is a sunscreen can exploded and caught fire. We were all so glad we decided to figure out what the noise was. 

 My mom stayed with Charlie while I took Lucy on a little FHE adventure with the Winwards. We went to the park, fed the ducks, then stopped for some delicious shaved ice. 

 Of course she wouldn't even try it. More for mommy! 

 We had lots of fun taking the kids to a little reservoir with Karrissa and her friends. Lucy loved playing in the sand and going on the kayak with aunt Karrissa.

Later that day we went and visited with Mumzy! 

 I quickly learned that Charlie likes to be actually put down for a nap, away from everyone. Which is nice, since Lucy didn't do that! 

 Lots and lots of walk to the park 

 Bath time with Addi and Grandma almost every night 

 Addi pretending to do Lucy's hair like her mommy does her was one of the cutest things I've seen! 

 So excited for the times we got to talk to daddy!

 Our entire time in Utah summed up in one picture...Lucy climbing out of the pack n play and not sleeping. The worst.

 After quite a few weeks of not being able to talk to Jess, we finally heard from him! He survived his training in the wild and torture training. I was so happy to hear from him and know he was safe!
