Utah Week 3: August 6th-12th

This was a really good week! We did lots of fun activities and spent quality time with both families. Besides the usual hardships that come with a newborn and a toddler, of course.. :)

This was one of my favorite Sundays while here -- my sweet parents took Lucy to church and kept her for the day while Charlie and I drove up the Michael and Erin's with the whole family to visit baby Eli. It was good to spend some time with the Lanham's while not having to chase Lucy around ;) We had dinner, doted over all the cute babies, and talked! Charlie and I made it home in time for the usual playing outside with all the kids time. I am so grateful for this special time with family!
 Charlie and Grandma Pat
Ethel, Charlie, Eli
Ethel and Charlie looked like twins!
Mr. Charles is one month old!
 Still a tiny little chicken!
Another pool day with the gang
Charlie loves bath time! He is such a sweet boy.
Lucy has been spoiled with all these fun mornings with Grandma and Addi!
A great depiction of how our nights/mornings go...
This never happens...girl must have played too hard! :)
We had such a fun visit with Jesse's family - waffles for dinner, games, movies, playing...so fun.
Uncle Josh is definitely the fun one
 Snuggles with Mumzy
 The terrible two's starting early...
Lucy's first haircut! My mom watched Charlie while I took little miss to chop off her mullet! She was soo funny. Sat so still but just kept giving the lady her side eyes. It was so funny. But she did great and now her hair is all the same length!
Out on a little rainy walk with Grandma
SOOO happy to be finally facetiming daddy!! Lucy girl misses him so much.
Kim, Rachel, Eliza and the kids came over one afternoon for an afternoon by the pool :)
These two out on a walk again :) Lucy would seriously stay outside all day long if we'd let her. I love that about her. She loves to be active and outdoors!
Let a fun Saturday begin! Coco and Kylie had a dance convention up in Park City so we all decided to drive up and spend the day there. We first went to the ski jumpers show at the olympic park. Lucy LOVED it. And mommy missed it because of course Charlie needed to be fed RIGTH THEN! ;) But it still was cool to be in PC, it's so pretty up there. We got some lunch at Zupa's then went and watched the girls dance. All outings with the kids are kinda hard for me - I hate that about myself, that things make me so frustrated so easily - but I'm working on not getting overwhelmed, and just living in the moment and having fun.
If this ensemble doesn't scream "Mormon Mom" I don't know what does! ;) Baby being carried by a wrap, backpack diaper bag, apple watch, sunglasses...I'm set!
Lucy's real nervous Addi is only there for her Goldfish...
Special little moments with my boy...starting to really connect!
Little monkey ready for bed after a long day!
