We went with some friends to the bases "Holiday Magic" event to get in the festive mood! The 30 minute wait in line was almost worth the 3 minutes horse carriage ride...almost! ;) It's nice celebrating the holiday while it's 75 degrees out!

Let's be honest...I made her go to the sugar cookie station so I could eat it knowing she wouldn't eat it... :)

Lucy loves making pancakes with me. She is all about stirring, doesn't let mom help at all.

All was well at the cutest Christmas story time at the library (they even handed out these awesome books!) until I made Lucy sit on Santa's lap. I actually feel a little guilty, cause she was so sad! But Charlie on the other hand, was just clueless and happy as can be.

Today was a hard day. Lucy was giving me a hard time and I was frustrated with fussy Charlie and I had a moment of crying while the kids were distracted. Until I heard Lucy say, "oh noooo! Happy. Mom." She didn't care how not great of a mom I was that day, just put her little hands on my cheeks, looked me in the eyes and told me to be happy, then gave me a kiss. I'm grateful for my sweet children.

I love the look Charlie gives daddy. He loves when Jess plays the guitar.

One of the gym child care workers invited Lucy to her daughters birthday party! Lucy was so cute and proud of herself walking up to the house, holding her present.
