Sickness Hell Week Before Christmas
Let one of the hardest weeks begin...
Forcing her to eat pizza...but just wants her grapes. That's Lucy for you.
The sweetest boy in his church clothes!
Right before all the sickness began...
MONDAY, DECEMBER 18TH: Charlie had multiple episodes of projectile vomiting. I thought it was because of his oral vaccinations, or something I was eating.
So we continued on with our day...
But poor baby boy kept throwing up, couldn't keep anything down, and only had one wet diaper all day long. So I finally decided to call the tricare nurse advice line and they sent us to the ER. Poor baby boy was so sweet to everyone even though he felt terrible. They gave him some zofran and since he stopped throwing up, they sent us home with that.
Plus, he has a terrible rash all over his chest and back
It's seriously the worst watching your baby be so sick
Buuuut he seriously was the sweetest still.
He was finally feeling better, so we got out of the house for a minute with a trip to Target the next day.
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 19TH: Lucy wakes up from a nap throwing up everything she's ate in the past week, I swear. It was bad. The stomach flu has officially hit our house. I feel bad I didn't figure that's what Charlie had. Now poor Lucy's turn to endure throwing up, chills, body aches, etc.
A bunch of sickies :(
She felt terrible, it was so sad. She just kept throwing up water cause there was nothing left.
Jesse was taking any and every precaution not to get the bug!
Sweetest girl folding her arms while daddy gave her a blessing
I set up camp in her room so I could help her with anything during the night. Luckily she didn't throw up anymore!
Poor boy, not throwing up any more, but struggling to breathe, and super congested.
Less than 24 hours later and she's back to her normal self!
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 20TH: Alysha gets the stomach flu. Loses 10 pounds after 8 hours of being sick and throwing up. It was such a hard day trying to take care of the kids while so sick. Jesse came and went from work to home throughout the day to help.
It's like she's seen mommy do this before or something...
FRIDAY, DECEMBER 22ND: Charlie's respiratory problems get worse, respiratory rate increases, his pediatrician sends us to a pediatric ER. Charlie gets diagnosed with RSV, they suction him really well then send us home. Oh, to top it off, guess who the stomach flu hit next? Yep. Dad! Luckily he only threw up a couple times, but poor guy did not feel well.
The sweetest sick boy you'll meet
Mom and Lucy get out the house to get such much needed groceries
Friday after the kids are in bed, mom finally gets some presents wrapped!
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23RD: we relax at home, hoping and praying illness hell week is over.
THANK GOODNESS THAT IS OVER!
